It's called Ultra Dark for a reason. The guide colour goes on very dark so you can see exactly where you've applied. After wash-off you get a deep, rich brown. Leave it on for 1 to 2 hours for a light glow, 2 to 4 hours for medium-to-dark, or 4+ hours for the full salon-grade depth.

If this is your first time using Ultra Dark, start at 1 to 2 hours. You can always go darker next time. You can't go lighter.

A single Ultra Dark application typically lasts 6 to 7 days. Using the Gradual Tanner from day 2 onwards to top up colour, some customers have reported up to 14 days of glow from a single application.
